I need a lot of furniture cause I'm moving into a new apartment and have nothing. Do you know of any good places to buy furniture for cheap? Not terrible old stuff...Used is okay or new. Please help. Thanks

Check craigslist for the school you are going to. At Penn State there are tons of people dumping their stuff off cheap every semester, but more at the end of the spring and summer sessions. If you live close to where you are going to school at, just put the stuff in storage before you can rent your apartment. Other than that, flea markets and auctions prove valuable. Additionally, check the local classifieds, as they sometimes have good stuff. Remember this, good furniture isn't always the prettiest. You can refurbish dressers and the like with a little sandpaper and paint.

- Local newspapers with second hand furniture announcements should be your best shot; It's definitely cheaper and you get to see it before you buy it. As long as it's second hand, that is a must.

i think the furniture today are all not very cheap,especially that high quality solid wood furniture.
as far as i know,some furniture store,such as http://www.furniture-cn.com .a bed that made of solid wood is valued at $22268 - Check out the local thrift shops; Goodwill, Salvation Army, Bethesda Thrift, etc. You'd be surprised what you can find in those places at very good prices.
