Show me another »Where to buy cheap but good couches, sofas, loveseats, etc, in wisconsin?
I am loking to spend less than 300 on a couch and/or loveseat or overstuffed chair. I am moving into an apartment and would like to furnish it without blowing my budget. I have looked on Craig's list for something local, but there isn't many options. I don't want to have to ship it or make payments either. Any suggestions?

Keep checking Craigslist, local classified ads and ebay (local, pickup). Seek out name brands - Ethan Allen makes the best upholstered furniture I have found. The savings/better quality will be worth the wait.

- Depends on what part of WI you live in or how far you are willing to travel.
Other places that are through out WI are: Goodwill Stores, and any other donated stores, newspaper, garage sales, garbage day in neighborhood...(sometimes people just buy new stuff and don't want the hassle of trying to get rid of the old so out to the curb is their easy solution), thrift shops, or any other second hand type shops.
