these colors are great together... they create a complimentary color scheme that is happy, cheery, and dramatic... using deep rich colors will give a look of sophistication... i like them and if you do too, then go ahead...!
but i'll be giving you a couple of advice that you may find useful:
1. use both colors in your dining and living... meaning: where green is the main color use variation of red as an accent color for accessories and stuff... and vice versa...! this will ensure harmony and will expand your space...
2. you may use the same colors and more in a double complimentary color scheme like: red, green, yellow-green, and red-violet... it's perfect for open spaces... emphasize one or two colors over the others in each room... just a suggestion!

- I have the same color sceme in my house, it dose not look like x-mas. Pick an accent color to go in both rooms, to unify them. Mine is gold, pillows, lampshades, dried flowers, a trow, whatever, just an accent. Have fun with it!!!!0% 0 Votes
